New Delhi, the 17th February, 2014
S.O. 597(E).—Whereas an Airprox incident of serious nature occurred between B737-800 aircraft of M/s. Spice Jet
VT-SPJ operating flight from Shamshabad to Delhi and M/s. Indigo A320 aircraft VT-IEB at Delhi on 02.09.2013.
And whereas M/s. Go Air A320 aircraft VT-GOK carried out rejected take off due runway incursion by Air Force
AN32 aircraft at Delhi on 02.10.2013.
And whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is expedient to investigate and determine the causes and
contributory factors leading to the Serious Incident and make recommendation to avoid reoccurrence of such incidents in
future.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 11 of the Aircraft (Accident and Incidents Investigation) Rules,
2012, the Central Government hereby directs that a formal inquiry of the said serious incidents to be held.
The Central Government is pleased to appoint a Committee of Inquiry headed by Sh. N. S. Dagar, Joint GM (ATM),
AAIB with Shri Vijay Ginotra, Alliance Air as member to inquire into the circumstances of these serious incidents.
The Committee will also take the assistance of other experts/agencies, whenever required.
The headquarters of the Committee will be at New Delhi.
The Committee will complete its inquiry and submit its report to the Central Government within three months.
