S.O. 1630(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of
Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India
in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide number S.O. 1896 (E) dated 8th August, 2011 except as respects
things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby appoints the officer
mentioned in column (1) of the Table below, being a Gazetted officer of the Government of India to be Estate Officer
for the purposes of the said Act, who shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on an Estate
Officer by or under the said Act, within the local limits of his jurisdiction in respect of the public premises specified in
column (2) of the said table.
