New Delhi, the 1st March, 2019
S.O. 1098(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of
Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints the officer mentioned in
column (1) of the Table below, being an officer equivalent to the rank of Gazetted Officer of the Government of India to
be Estate Officer for the purposes of the said Act and the said officer shall exercise the powers conferred and perform
the duties imposed on Estate Officers by or under the said Act, within the limits of his jurisdiction in respect of the Public
Premises specified in Column (2) of the said Table:-
