In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 32 of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956102 of 1956 the Central Government hereby makes the following rules namely: 1. i These rules may be called the Indian Medical Council Post-graduate Medical Education Committee Rules 1961.

2. “भारतीय िच(cid:7408)क(cid:7004)सा प(cid:7407)रषद ((cid:7401)ातको(cid:7275)र) िच(cid:7408)क(cid:7004)सा िश(cid:6979)ा सिमित िनयम, 1961”, िजसम(cid:7286) आग े 27.10.2000 तक
संशोधन (cid:7408)कया गया था, म(cid:7286) िन(cid:7388)िलिखत प(cid:7407)रवध(cid:6981)न/आशोधन/िवलोपन/(cid:7079)ित(cid:7021)थापन को दशा(cid:6981)या जाएगाः-
3. “प(cid:7407)रषद क(cid:7409) बैठक” शीष(cid:6981)क के अतं गत(cid:6981) ख(cid:7003)ड 6 (2) म(cid:7286) िन(cid:7388)िलिखत (cid:7079)ित(cid:7021)थािपत (cid:7408)कया जाएगाः

S.O.120(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 32 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102
of 1956) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules namely:—
1. (i) These rules may be called the Indian Medical Council (Post-graduate Medical Education Committee)
Rules, 1961.
(ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the “Indian Medical Council (Post Graduate) Medical Education Committee Rules, 1961”, further amended
till 27.10.2000, the following additions/ modifications/ deletions/ substitutions, shall be as indicated therein:-
3. In Clause 6(2) under the heading “Meeting of the Council”, the following shall substitute:-
“The quorum to constitute the meeting of the committee shall be presence of four members.”
