AMENDMENT NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th February, 2018
No. MCI-34(41)/2017-Med./172225.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 33 of the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), the Medical Council of India with the previous sanction of
the Central Government, hereby makes the following Regulations to further amend the “Regulations on
Graduate Medical Education, 1997”, namely: —
1. (i) These Regulations may be called the “Regulations on Graduate Medical Education (Amendment),
2018.
(ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In Clause 7(6) of the “Regulations on Graduate Medical Education 1997”, sub clause 7(6AAA), which was
added vide Gazette Notification No. MCI-34(41)/2017-Med./122452, dated 04.07.2017 shall be substituted as
under:-
‘‘7(6AAA) –The Universities and other authorities concerned shall organize admission process in
accordance with the Time Schedule indicated in Appendix ‘F’.’’
