NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th January, 2016
S.O. 156 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the Prevention and Control of the
Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (27 of 2009), the Central Government hereby makes
the following amendment to amend the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in
Animals (Form of Vaccination Certificate, Manner of Post Mortem Examination and Disposal of Carcass)
Rules 2010, namely:
2. In the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals (Form of
Vaccination Certificate, Manner of Post Mortem Examination and Disposal of Carcass) Rules, 2010, after rule
6, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:-
“7. Periodic inspection, at least once in a year, shall be carried out to ensure compliance with the provisions of
these rules”.
