NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 04th April, 2018
G.S.R. 333(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Aircraft Act, 1934 (22 of 1934), the
Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Aircraft Rules, 1937, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Aircraft (First Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Aircraft Rules, 1937, in rule 62, in sub-rule (1), in the Table, under item (E), against serial number (i), for the
figures “2500” in third column, the figures “1500” shall be substituted.

Note 1 : The Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to section 14 of the Aircraft Act,
1934 (22 of 1934) has in the public interest dispensed with the condition of previous publication in case of this
notification vide its Order No. AV.11012/7/2016-A, dated the 23rd March, 2018 issued in Ministry of
Civil Aviation.
Note 2 : The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, vide notification number V-26, dated the 23rd March,
1937 and last amended vide number G.S.R. 1358(E), dated the 1st November, 2017, published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated the 1st November, 2017.
