No. S-16014/29/2006-L.W.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Contract Labour
(Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby constitutes a Committee
comprising the following member to examine in detail the working of PGIMER, Chandigarh.
2. The composition of the Committee will be as under:-

“To study the working of contract labour system in the jobs/works of PGIMER and to make suitable
recommendations whether or not the employment of contract labour in jobs/works of Sanitation Service (Cleaning,
Sweeping & Dusting) Security Services (Watch and Ward of the Institute & Catering Services to the admitted patients
in the said establishment be prohibited keeping in view the provisions of Section 10 of the Contract Labour
(Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970.”
4. The Headquarters of the Committee will be at Chandigarh. The Committee shall submit its report within six
month.
