RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 22nd July, 2019
No.U-23013/03/2000-LW.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Contract
Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby
constitutes a Committee to go into the question of abolition of contract labour in the establishment of
M/s National Fertilizers Limited, Bhatinda, Punjab. The composition of the committee and its terms
of reference will be as under:-

The terms of reference of the proposed committee would be as follows:-
“To study the working of contract labour system in the jobs/works in the establishment of M/s
National Fertilizers Limited, Bhatinda, Punjab in respect of which abolition of contract labour
system has been sought in the Civil Writ Petition number 20090 of 2014 in the High Court of

2. The committee has to make suitable recommendations whether or not employment of contract labour
in jobs/works in the establishment of M/s National Fertilizers Limited, Bhatinda, Punjab as mentioned above
be prohibited keeping in view the provisions of Section 10 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition)
Act, 1970.
3. The Headquarter of the Committee will be at Chandigarh. The Committee should submit its report at
the earliest .
