In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 read with sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following Scheme further to amend the Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952, namely.
This notification, G.S.R. 666(E), issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, announces the Employees' Provident Funds Amendment Scheme, 2015. The amendment, effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette (August 27, 2015), modifies the Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952. Specifically, it amends paragraph 52, subparagraph (1), by substituting the words "clauses (a) to (d) of section 20 of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (11 of 1882)" with "section 20 of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (11 of 1882)". The notification is issued under the authority of Section 5 read with subsection (1) of Section 7 of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952). G.S.R.666(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 read with sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the
Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952), the Central Government hereby
makes the following Scheme further to amend the Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 1952, namely :—
1. (1) This Scheme may be called the Employees' Provident Funds (Amendment) Scheme, 2015.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 1952, in paragraph 52, sub-paragraph (1), for the words, brackets, letters
and figures “clauses (a) to (d) of section 20 of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (11 of 1882)”, the words, figures and brackets
“section 20 of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (11 of 1882)” shall be substituted.
