New Delhi, the 15th February, 2019
S.O. 878(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5AA of the Employees’ Provident
Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the
following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and
Employment, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii) vide number
S.O. 3539(E), dated the 24th November, 2016, namely:—
In the said notification,—
(i) under the heading “Appointed under clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 5AA”, for the entry
against serial number 6, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—
“6. Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh,
Labour Department,
Lucknow.”;
(ii) under the heading “Appointed under clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 5AA”, for serial
numbers 7, 8 and 9 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—
“7. Shri Sanjay Bhatia.
8. Shri Sougata Roy Choudhury.
9. Shri Govind Lele.”;
(iii) under the heading “Appointed under clause (e) of sub-section (2) of section 5AA”, for serial
