(क)(cid:32) िविनयम 4 म(cid:7286) तीसरे परंतुक के बाद िन(cid:7388)िलिखत परंतुक जोड़ा जाएगा नामत: :-
“बशत(cid:7287) (cid:7408)क सं(cid:7059)मणकालीन दो वष(cid:6981) क(cid:7409) िव(cid:7021)ता(cid:7407)रत सं(cid:7059)मण अविध पूण(cid:6981) होने के बाद आगामी एक वष(cid:6981) अथवा कम अविध के िलए

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th December, 2016
F. No. PNGRB/M(C)/62/2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 61 of the Petroleum and
Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 (19 of 2006), the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board hereby makes
the following regulations, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.—
(1) These regulations may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of
Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Amendment Regulations, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on 20th December, 2016.
2. Amendment of regulations 4 and 5.
In the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline
Transportation Tariff) Regulations, 2010, –
(a) in regulation 4, after the third proviso, the following proviso shall be added, namely:-
“Provided also that the transitional period may, after the completion of the extended transition period of two years, be
further extended for another one year or lesser period as the Board may decide.”;
(b) in regulation 5, after the second proviso, the following proviso shall be added, namely:-
“Provided further that the determination of the petroleum and petroleum product pipeline transportation tariff shall be
benchmarked against the goods tariff table of the railways as applicable on the date of the coming into force of the
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline
Transportation Tariff) Amendment Regulations, 2016 and if the goods tariff table of the railways is revised during the
further extended period of transition, the Board may consider the benchmarking of the petroleum and petroleum products
transportation tariff against such revision.”
