NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th April, 2018
S.O. 1685(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 52 of the Employees’
Provident Funds Scheme, 1952, the Central Government hereby directs to make the following further amendment in the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. 1071(E), dated the 23rd
April, 2015, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii), dated the 23rd April, 2015,
namely:—
In the said notification, after the opening paragraph, in the Table, against Category (ii) relating to the investment
pattern “Debt Instruments and Related Investments”, for the entries in the third column relating to “Percentage amount to
be invested”, the following entries shall be substituted with effect from the 19th day of February, 2018, namely:—
“Minimum 20 per cent. and up to 45 per cent.”.
