Short title and Commencement.- (1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (First Amendment) Order, 2019. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Schedule VI.- In the Schedule VI to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003- (i) Against serial number 184, relating to Juglans spp. (Walnut), in column (3), against entry (ii) for the category ‘Dry fruits for consumption (shelled and unshelled)’, after the entry in column (4) of serial No. (vi) and the entries relating thereto in columns (4), (5) (6) the following item and entries shall be inserted by the following namely:¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 Country of origin Additional declaration required to be Special conditions of import incorporated into Phytosanitary Certificate (4) (5) (6) (vii) Australia Freedom from: (a) Cydia pomonella (Codling moth) Methyl bromide fumigation @ 16g/m3 for 24 hrs at 210C and above.
