New Delhi, the 31st August, 2020
S.O. 2946(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Mines Act, 1952
(35 of 1952), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Prabhat Kumar, Deputy Director General of Mines Safety
(Mining), in the Directorate General of Mines Safety Organisation to be the Chief Inspector of Mines for all the
territories to which the said Act extends with effect from 01.09.2020 till the time of a regular appointment against this
post is made or till further orders whichever is earlier.
