Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Senior Assistant Director (Taxation), Group 'B' Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Senior Assistant Director (Taxation), Group 'B' Post Recruitment Rules, 2016, (herein after referred to as the principal rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "2. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix or pay scale. - The number of said posts, their classification and the level in the pay matrix or pay scale attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules." 3. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Stenographer Grade-I, Private Secretary and Principal Private Secretary Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Stenographer Grade-l, Private Secretary and Principal Private Secretary Recruitment Rules, 2015, (hereinafter referred to as the principal rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix or pay scale.—The number of said posts, their classification and the level in the pay matrix or pay scale attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules." 3. In the principal rules, in the schedule, - (A) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Stenographer Grade-I, - (i) in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- "Level in Pay Matrix or pay scale (4) Level 6 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 35400-112400"; (B) against serial number 2, relating to the post of Private Secretary, - (i) in column (4), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “Level 7 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400"; (ii) in column (11), under the sub-heading 'promotion',- (a) for the words, figures and letters "pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay Rs. 4200/-“, the words, figures and letters "Level 6 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 35400-112400", shall be substituted;18 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] (b) Note 2 shall be omitted; (iii) in column (11), under the sub-heading 'Deputation (Including short-term contract)',- (a) for the words, figures and letters "pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay Rs. 4200/", the words, figures and letters "Level 6 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 35400-112400", shall be substituted; (b) Note 3 shall be omitted; (C) against serial number 3, relating to the post of Principal Private Secretary, - (i) in column (4), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- "Level 11 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 67700-208700"; (ii) in column (11), under the sub-heading 'promotion',- (a) for the words, figures and letters "pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay Rs. 4600", the words, figures and letters "Level 7 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400", shall be substituted; (b) Note 2 shall be omitted; (iii) in column (11), under the sub-heading 'Deputation (Including short-term contract)',- (a) for the words, figures and letters "pay band-3, Rs. 15600-39100 plus grade pay of Rs. 5400", the words, figures and letters "Level 10 in the Pay Matrix Rs.56100-177500", shall be substituted; (b) for the words, figures and letters "pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay Rs. 4800", the words, figures and letters "Level 8 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 47600-151100", shall be substituted; (c) Note 4 shall be omitted.
