Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Additional Director (Capital Market)/Joint Director (Capital Market) and Additional Director (Financial Transactions)/Joint Director (Financial Transactions) Group 'A' Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Additional Director (Capital Market)/Joint Director (Capital Market) and Additional Director (Financial Transactions)/ Joint Director (Financial Transactions) Group 'A' Post Recruitment Rules, 2015, (herein after referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "3. Number of posts, classification, level in the pay matrix or pay scale.- The number of posts, their classification, level in the pay matrix or pay scale attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.". 3. In the said rules, in the Schedule, - (i) in serial number 1, against the posts of Additional Director (Capital Market)/Joint Director (Capital Market), - (a) in column (1), the following ‘Note’ shall be inserted, namely:- “Note:- Only one post i.e. either Additional Director (Capital Market) or Joint Director (Capital Market), as the case may be, is to be operated at a time.”; (b) in column (4)- (i) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:- “Level in the pay matrix or pay scale.”; (ii) for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “(i) Level 13 (Rs. 1,23,100-2,15,900) in the pay matrix for the post of Additional Director (Capital Market); (ii)Level 12 (Rs. 78,800-2,09,200) in the pay matrix for the post of Joint Director (Capital Market)."; (c) in column (11), under the heading 'Deputation (Including short-term contract)’, - (i) for the words, “autonomous and statutory bodies”, the words, “autonomous or statutory bodies”, shall be substituted; (ii) under sub-heading ‘For the post of Additional Director (Capital Market)’, in clause (A), in item (ii), for the words, figures and letters, "pay band-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs. 7600", the words, figures, letters and brackets, "level 12 in the pay matrix (Rs. 78,800- 2,09,200)", shall be substituted;
