Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Prosecutor and Senior Prosecutor, Group ‘B’ Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Prosecutor and Senior Prosecutor, Group ‘B’ Post Recruitment Rules, 2016, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "3. Number of posts, classification, level in the pay matrix .- The number of posts, their classification, level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.". 3. In the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Assistant Director (Investigation), Group 'B' Post Recruitment Rules, 2016, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "2. Number of posts, classification, level in the pay matrix. - The number of posts, their classification, level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.";¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 9 3. In the said rules, in the Schedule, - (i) In column (4),- (A) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:- “Level in pay matrix or pay scale.”; (B) for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “Level 8 in the pay matrix (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100)"; (ii) in column (11), under the heading 'Deputation (Including Short-term Contract)',- (a) for the words, “Autonomous and Statutory”, the words, “Autonomous or Statutory”, shall be substituted; (b) in item (A), in sub-item (II), for the words, figures and letters, "Pay band-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4600", the words, figures, letters and brackets, "level 7 in pay matrix (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400)” shall be substituted; (c) in item (A), in sub-item (III), for the words, figures and letters, "Pay band-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4200", the words, figures, letters and brackets, "level 6 in pay matrix (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)” shall be substituted; (d) in item (A), sub-item (IV) shall be omitted; (e) in the ‘Note’,- (a) item (i) shall be omitted; (b) in item (ii), for the words, “Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex- cadre post”, the words and brackets, “Period of deputation (Including Short-term Contract) including period of deputation (Including Short-term Contract) in another ex-cadre post” shall be substituted; (c) in item (ii), for the words, “Age-limit for appointment by deputation”, the words and brackets, “Age-limit for appointment by deputation (Including Short-term Contract)” shall be substituted; [F.
