भाग II, खांड 3- उप-खांड (ii) में प्रकादित अदधसचू ना के परै ा 53 के साथ पर्ाावरण (सांरक्षण) अदधदनर्म, 1986 (1986 का 29) की
धारा 3 की उप-धारा (1) तथा (3) द्वारा प्रित्त िदक्तर्ों का प्रर्ोग करते हुर् ेएतिद्व् ारा उत्तराखांड राज्र् के दजला िहे रािनू के दलए दजला गगां ा
सरु क्षा सदमदत नामक प्रादधकरण का गठन करती ह,ै दजसमें दनम्नदलदखत सिस्र् िादमल होंगे :

3. दजला गगां ा सरु क्षा सदमदत दिनाांक 7 अक्तूबर, 2016 की ऊपर उदल्लदखत अदधसचू ना म ें िी गई िदक्तर्ों का प्रर्ोग करेगी और
इसमें दिर् ेगए कार्ों का दनष्पािन करेगी।
4. नादमत सिस्र्ों को र्ात्रा भत्ता/िदैनक भत्ता और दसद ांग फीस राज्र् सरकार के दनर्मों के अनसु ार िर्े होगी।

S.O. 2541(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the
Environment (Protection), Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with the paragraph 53 of the notification of the
Government of India, in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, published
in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S. O. 3187(E), dated the
7th October, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes an
authority to be called as the District Ganga Protection Committee for District Dehradun of the State of
Uttarakhand, comprising of the following members, namely:—
A. Ex-officio Members:
(a) District Collector, Dehradun - Chairperson;
(b) Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Dehradun - Member;
(c) Executive Engineer, Irrigation, Dehradun - Member;
(d) Executive Engineer, Uttarakhand Pey Jal Nigam, Dehradun - Member;
(e) Executive Engineer, Maintenance Division, Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan, - Member;
Parkash Vihar, Dehradun
(f) Assistant Environment Engineer, Uttarakhand Protection and Pollution - Member;
Control Board, Head Office, Dehradun
(g) Divisional Forest Officer, Dehradun Division - Member and Convenor.
B. Nominated Members:
(a) District Development Officer, Dehradun - Member;
(b) Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Rishikesh - Member;

2. The nominated Members shall hold office for a term of two years from the date of publication of this order in
the Official Gazette.
3. The District Ganga Protection Committee shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as specified
in the said notification.
4. Travelling Allowance, Daily Allowance and sitting fees of the nominated Members shall be governed by the
relevant rules of the State Government.
5. The Chairperson may decide the procedure and frequency for holding the meetings as per the said
notification.

Environment (Protection), Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with the paragraph 53 of the notification of the
Government of India, in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, published
in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 3187(E), dated the
7th October, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes an
authority to be called as the District Ganga Protection Committee for District Pauri Gahwal of the State of
Uttarakhand, comprising of the following members, namely:—
A. Ex-officio Members:
(a) District Collector, Pauri Garhwal - Chairperson;
(b) Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Construction Division, - Member;
Pauri
(c) Executive Engineer, Irrigation Department, Srinagar - Member;
(d) Executive Engineer, Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan, Srinagar - Member;
(e) Executive Engineer, Uttarakhand Peyjal Nigam, Srinagar - Member;

2. The nominated Members shall hold office for a term of two years from the date of publication of this order in
the Official Gazette.
3. The District Ganga Protection Committee shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as specified
in the said notification.
4. Travelling Allowance, Daily Allowance and sitting fees of the nominated Members shall be governed by the
relevant rules of the State Government.
5. The Chairperson may decide the procedure and frequency for holding the meetings as per the said
notification.
