S.O. 4267(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the
Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with paragraph 53 of the River Ganga
(Rejuvenation, Protection and Management) Authorities Order, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the said
order), the Central Government in consultation with the Uttar Pradesh State Ganga Committee hereby
constitutes an authority to be called as the District Ganga Committee for District Bareilly comprising of the
following members, namely:-
A. Ex-officio Members:
1. District Magistrate, Bareilly - Chairperson;
2. Executive Engineer, Provincial Division Public Works Department, Bareilly- Member;
3. Executive Engineer, Flood Division Irrigation Department, Bareilly - Member;
