S.O. 5313(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the
Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with paragraph 53 of the River Ganga (Rejuvenation,
Protection and Management) vide Authorities Order number S. O. 3187(E), dated 7th October, 2016 (hereinafter
referred to as the said order), the Central Government in consultation with the Uttar Pradesh State Ganga Committee
hereby constitutes an authority to be called as the District Ganga Committee for District Amethi comprising of the
following members, namely:-
A. Ex-officio Members:
1. District Magistrate, Amethi Chairperson;
2. Chief Development Officer, Amethi- Member;
3. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Musafirkhana - Member;
4. Village Development Officer, Gajanpur- Member;
