NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd February, 2016
S.O. 355(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 8 read with sub-
section (1) of section 10 of the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints
Shri Devender Kumar Sikri as the Chairperson of the Competition Commission of India with effect from the
11th January, 2016 (afternoon) for a period of five years or till the date of attaining the age of sixty-five years
or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
2. The terms and conditions of his service shall be governed by the Competition Commission of India
(Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and other Members) Rules,
2003.
