NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th July, 2019
S.O. 2576(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 29 read with section 14 of the
Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Act, 2001 (53 of 2001), the Central Government hereby specifies the
following specie for the purpose of registration of varieties (other than extant varieties and farmers’ varieties) under the
said Act, and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in
the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare), number
S.O. 1536(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 12th May,
2017, namely:—
In the said notification, in the Table, after serial number 141 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial
number and entries shall be inserted, namely:—
