O. 3187(E), dated the 7th October, 2016, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes an authority to be called the State Ganga Rejuvenation, Protection and Management Committee for the State of Madhya Pradesh (hereinafter referred to as the State Ganga Committee for Madhya Pradesh), comprising of the following members, namely:- (a) Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh Chairperson, Ex-officio; (b) Principal Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of State Member, Ex-officio; of Madhya Pradesh (c) Principal Secretary, Department of Urban Development & Member-Convener; Housing, Government of State of Madhya Pradesh (d) Principal Secretary, Department of Environment & Forest, Member, Ex-officio; Government of State of Madhya Pradesh (e) Principal Secretary, Department of Water Resource, Government Member, Ex-officio; of State of Madhya Pradesh¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 7 (f) Principal Secretary, Department of Public Health Engineering, Member, Ex-officio; Government of State of Madhya Pradesh (g) Chairman, Madhya Pradesh State Pollution Control Board, Member, Ex-officio; Government of State of Madhya Pradesh (h) Chief Executing Officer of Executing Agency Member, Ex-officio; (i) Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Government of Madhya Member, Ex-officio; Pradesh Nominated Members: (j) Shri H. The State Ganga Committee for Madhya Pradesh shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as stated in the said notification. 4. Travelling Allowance, Daily Allowance and sitting fees of the nominated members shall be governed by the rules of the State Government. 5. The State Ganga Committee for Madhya Pradesh may decide the procedure and frequency for holding the meetings as per the said notification. [F.
