NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th October, 2019
S.O. 3627(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the clause(db) of section 2 of the Ancient Monuments
and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958), the Central Government makes following amendment in
the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Culture (Archaeological Survey of India) S.O. 728(E)
dated 25th February, 2014 published in Gazette of India on 10th March, 2014, except as respects things done or omitted
to be done before such modification.
The Central Government hereby specifies that the existing entry under column(2) – ‘Designation of the officer’
against SL. No. 6 of the TABLE in the said Notification shall be substituted as “Regional Director (Northern Region),
Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi.
2. The above said amendment shall take effect from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette.
