(क) िजसने ऐसे Rि से िजसका पित या िजसक: पSी जीिवत है, िववाह (cid:4)कया ह;ै या
(ख) िजसने अपने पित या अपनी पSी के जीिवत रहते $ए (cid:4)कसी Rि से िववाह (cid:4)कया ह,ै उ पद पर िनयुि का पा;
नहT होगाः
पर(cid:27)तु य(cid:4)द के(cid:27)Uीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता है (cid:4)क ऐसा िववाह ऐसे Rि और िववाह के अ(cid:27)य प)कार को
लागू (cid:11)वीय िविध के अधीन अनुVेय ह ैऔर ऐसा करने के िलए अ(cid:27)य आधार ह Eतो वह (cid:4)कसी Rि को इस िनयम के (cid:29)वत’न से छूट

िशिथल कर सकेगी ।
7777.... ....ााााववववििृृििृृतततत::::---- इन िनयम" क: कोई बात, ऐसे आर)ण", आय-ु सीमा म6 छूट और अ(cid:27)य Yरयायत" पर (cid:29)भाव नहT डालेगी,

सं(cid:11)थ ान या लोक )े; के उप3म" या अध’-
सरकारी कानूनी या (cid:11)व ायmत संगठन के अधीन
ऐसे अिधकारीः
(क)(i) जो मूल काडर या िवभाग म6 िनयिमत
आधार पर सदशृ पद धारण (cid:4)कए ह":

(ii) िजनक: मूल काडर या िवभाग म6 वेतन बEड
2, 9300-34800‘.+ [ेड वेतन 4200‘. या
समतु(cid:6)य Aेणी म6 िनयिमत आधार पर िनयुि
के पwात् पाचं वष’ क: सेवा है; और

(cid:29)ितिनयुि=त पर िनयुि=त के िलए िवचार (cid:4)कए
जाने के पा; नहT ह"गे । इसी (cid:29)कार
(cid:29)ितिनयु=त Rि (cid:29)ो^ित (cid:28)ारा िनयुि के
िलए िवचार (cid:4)कए जाने के िलए पा; नहT ह"गे ।

अंतग’त अ(cid:6)पकािलक संिवदा भी ह)ै िजसके
अंतग’त क6Uीय सरकार के उसी या (cid:4)कसी अ(cid:27)य
संगठन या िवभाग म6 इस िनयुि=त से ठीक पहल े
धाYरत (cid:4)कसी अ(cid:27)य काडर बाx पद पर
(cid:29)ितिनयुि=त (िजसके अंतग’त अ(cid:6)पकािलक
संिवदा भी ह)ै क: अविध भी ह ैसाधारणतया 3
वष’ से अिधक नहT होगी ।
(cid:29)ितिनयुि=त (िजसके अंतग’त अ(cid:6)पकािलक
संिवदा भी ह)ै (cid:28)ारा िनयुि=त के िलए अिधकतम
आयु सीमा आवेदन (cid:29)ाdत होने क: अंितम
तारीख को 56 वष’ से अिधक नहT होगी ।

G.S.R. 665(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of:- (i)National Sample Survey Organisation, Data Processing Division and Survey Design and Research
Division (Data Processing Assistant) Recruitment Rules, 1977; (ii) National Sample Survey Organisation, Data
Processing Division and Survey Design and Research Division (Data Processing Supervisor) Recruitment Rules, 1978;
and (iii) Data Processing Division and Survey Design and Research Division, National Sample Survey Organisation,
(Superintendent) Recruitment Rules, 1986, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the Electronic
Data Processing posts (Data Processing Assistant - Grade I, II and III) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation, Data Processing Division and Survey Design and Research Division of National Sample Survey
Office, namely :-
1. Short title and commencement :-(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation, National Sample Survey Office, Data Processing Division and Survey Design and Research Division,
Electronics Data Processing posts ( Data Processing Assistant -GradeI, II and III) Recruitment Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. Application:-These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column(1) of the Schedule annexed to these
rules.
3. Number of posts, classification, pay band and grade pay or payscale :- The number of posts, their
classification,pay band and grade pay or pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2 ) to (4) of the

4. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.:- The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications
and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
5. Disqualification: - No person-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person:
shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts :
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such a marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.
6. Power to relax: - Where the CentralGovernment is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it
may, by order,for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission,
relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to anyclass or category of persons.
7. Saving: - Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required
to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in
accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

service rendered on a regular basis by an officer
prior to 1st January, 2006 or the date from

Note 1:- The departmental officers in the

Note 2:- The period of deputation
(including short-term contract)including
the period of deputation (including short-
term contract) in another ex-cadre post
held immediately preceding this
appointment in the same or some other
organisation or department of the Central
Government shall ordinarily not to exceed
three years.
The maximum age limit for appointment
by deputation (including short- term
contract) shall be not exceeding fifty six

deputation basis, the service rendered on a
