L.-33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY II— — (i) PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY 718] No. 718] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2017/SRAVANA 31, 1939 सस्ं कृति मत्रं ालय (भारिीय परु ाित्व सवक्षे ण) अतिसचू ना नई दिल्ली, 22 अगस्ि, 2017 सा.का.तन. 1044(अ).—राष्ट्रपति, संतविान के अनुच्छेि 309 के परन्िुक द्वारा प्रित्त शतियों का प्रयोग करिे हुए और भारिीय परु ाित्व सवेक्षण (कायय सहायक ग्रेड 3, समूह ‘ग’ अराजपतत्रि) भिी तनयम, 1999 में और भारिीय परु ाित्व सवेक्षण (अवर श्रेणी तलतपक समूह ‘ग’ अराजपतत्रि) भिी (सशं ोिन) तनयम, 2000 म,ैं उन बािों के तसवाय अतिक्ांि करि े हुए तजन् ह ें से अतिक्मण से पहले दकया गया ह ा या करने का लोप दकया गया हा, संस् कृति मंत्रालय, भारिीय परु ाित्व सवेक्षण में अवर श्रणे ी तलतपक के पि पर भिी को तवतनयतमि करने के तलए एिद्द्वारा तनम्न तलतति तनयम बनािे ह,ैं नामि: 1. सतं क्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ : (1) इन तनयमों का संतक्षप्त नाम संस्कृति मंत्रालय, भारिीय पुराित्व सवेक्षण, अवर श्रणे ी तलतपक (समूह ‘ग’ पि) भिी तनयम, 2017 ह ा। (2) य ेराजपत्र म ेंउनके प्रकाशन की िारीत से प्रवृत् ि होंगे । 2. पि सख्ं या, वगीकरण और विे न मट्रा िक्स म ेंस्िर: - उि पि संख्या, उसका वगीकरण और उनके वेिन माट्रिक् स में स्िर वह होगा जो इन तनयमों से उपबिं अनुसूची के स्िंभ (2) से स्िंभ (4) में तवतनर्िष्टय ह ैं। 3. भिी की पद्धति, आय ु सीमा और अन्य अहिाएय ं, आदि : - उि पिों पर भिी की पद्धति, आयु सीमा, अहिायएं और उसस े संबंतिि अन्य बािें वे होंगी जो उि अनुसूची के स्िंभ (5) से स्िंभ (13) में तवतनर्िष्टय ह ैं। 4. तनरहिय ा :- वह व्यति- (क) तजसने से व्यति स ेतजसका पति या तजसकी पत्नी जीतवि हैं, तववाह दकया हा, ; Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Culture, Archeological Survey of India, Lower Division Clerk (Group ‘C’ post), Recruitment Rules, 2017. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Number of post, classification and Level in the Pay Matrix. - The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule annexed to these rules. 3. Method of recruitment, age limit, qualification etc.- The method of recruitment to the said post, age limit, qualification and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule. 4. Disqualification. - No person, (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for doing so, exempt any person from the operation to this rule. 5. Power to relax. --- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons. 6. Saving. --- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
