1. सिंक्ष(cid:7385) नाम और (cid:7079)ारम् भ.—(1) इन िनयम(cid:7298) का संिक्षप् त नाम फसल िवकास िनदशे ालय(cid:7298), कृिष, सहकािरता और िकसान कल् याण
िवभाग, कृिष और िकसान कल् याण मं(cid:7074)ालय (समूह ‘ग’ पद(cid:7298)) भत(cid:7278) िनयम, 2017 ह ै।
(2) ये राजप(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) (cid:7079)काशन की तारीख को (cid:7079)दत् त ह(cid:7298)गे ।
2. लागू होना.— ये िनयम इन िनयम(cid:7298) से उपाब(cid:7373) अनसु ूची के स् तंभ (1) म(cid:7286) िविन(cid:7416)दष्र् ट पद(cid:7298) को लागू ह(cid:7298)गे।
3. पद(cid:7298) की सख्ं या, वग(cid:7278)करण और वते न मिै(cid:7069)क्स म (cid:7286)स्तर.— उ(cid:7334) पद(cid:7298) की संख्या, उनका वग(cid:7278)करण और उनका वेतन बैण्ड तथा (cid:7061)ेड वते न या
वेतनमान व ेह(cid:7298)ग,े जो इन िनयम(cid:7298) की अनसु ूची के स्तम्भ (2) से स्तम्भ (4) म(cid:7286) िविन(cid:7416)द(cid:7397)र् ह।(cid:7289)
4. भत(cid:7278) की प(cid:7373)ित, आय ु सीमा और अन् य अहतर् ाएं.—उ(cid:7334) पद पर भत(cid:7278) की प(cid:7373)ित, आयु सीमा, अहतर् ाएं और उससे संबंिधत अन्य बात(cid:7286) व े

5. िनरहतर् ा.—वह (cid:7390)ि(cid:7334)-
(क) िजसने ऐसे (cid:7390)ि(cid:7334) से िजसका पित या िजसकी प(cid:7360)ी जीिवत ह,ै िववाह िकया ह,ै या

(ख) िजसने अपन ेपित या अपनी प(cid:7360)ी के जीिवत रहते हुए िकसी (cid:7390)ि(cid:7334) से िववाह िकया ह,ै
उ(cid:7334) पद पर िनयुि(cid:7334) का पा(cid:7074) नह(cid:7277) होगाः
परन्त ुयिद केन्(cid:7076)ीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता ह ैिक ऐसा िववाह उस (cid:7390)ि(cid:7334) और िववाह के अन्य पक्षकार को लागू स्वीय
िविध के अधीन अनुज्ञेय ह ैऔर ऐसा करन ेके िलए अन्य आधार ह,(cid:7289) तो वह िकसी (cid:7390)ि(cid:7334) को इस िनयम के (cid:7079)वतनर् से छूट द ेसकेगी ।
6. िशिथल करने की शि(cid:7334).—जहा ंकेन्(cid:7076)ीय सरकार की यह राय ह ैिक ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन ह,ै वहां वह उसके िलए जो कारण
ह,(cid:7289) उन्ह (cid:7286)लेखब(cid:7373) करके इन िनयम(cid:7298) के िकसी उपबधं को, िकसी वग र्या (cid:7079)वगर् के (cid:7390)ि(cid:7334)य(cid:7298) की बावत, आदशे (cid:7367)ारा िशिथल कर सकेगी ।
7. (cid:7390)ाविृत्त .—इन िनयम(cid:7298) की कोई बात, ऐस े आरक्षण(cid:7298), आय-ु सीमा म (cid:7286) छूट और अन्य िरयायत(cid:7298) पर (cid:7079)भाव नह(cid:7277) डालगे ी, िजनका क(cid:7286)(cid:7076)ीय

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th April, 2017
G.S.R.422(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, and in
supersession of the Crops Development Directorates, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of
Agriculture (Group ‘C’ posts) Recruitment Rules, 2014, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to Group ‘C’ posts in
the Crops Development Directorates, namely, the Directorate of Rice Development, Patna; Directorate of Millets
Development, Jaipur; Directorate of Pulses Development, Bhopal; Directorate of Sugarcane Development, Lucknow;
Directorate of Jute Development, Kolkata; Directorate of Cotton Development, Nagpur; Directorate of Oilseeds
Development, Hyderabad and Directorate of Wheat Development, Ghaziabad, namely:-
1. Short title and Commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Crops Development Directorates, Department
of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Group ‘C’ posts)
Recruitment Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Application.— These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification and level
in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.
4. Method of recruitment, age-limit and qualification, etc.— The method of recruitment to the said posts, age-limit,
qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
5. Disqualifications.— No person,-¹Hkkx IIμ[k.M 3 (i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 11
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living ; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:
Provided that the Central Government, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt
any person from the operation of this rule.
6. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may,
by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or
category of persons.
7. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall effect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be
provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Schedule Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Serviceman and other special
categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this
regard.
