NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th February, 2019
S.O. 930(E).—In particial modification of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports
Notifications S.O. 973(E), dated 12th November, 1998, S.O. 1779(E), dated 12th September, 2006, S.O. 525(E),
dated 22nd March, 2012, S.O. 1325(E), dated 20th May, 2014 and S.O. 1706(E), dated 11th May, 2016, the
Central Government makes the following amendments to “Para 18.Additional endowments :”
Substitute sub-para (3) as under :
(3) It will be permissible for a donor contributing to the National Sports Development Fund to
indicate a project along with any specific location / aspect for funding and also an executing agency for
execution of the project while making donations to the Fund, subject to general policy guidelines and rules, if
any, on this behalf, if the amount being contributed is Rs.5 lakh (Rupees Five Lakh) and above. The
executive agency indicated by the donor should be from the agencies empanelled with the Sports Authority of
India (SAI), list of which is being finalised by SAI and till finalistion of the empanelled executing agencies,
the executing agency will be mutually decided by the donor and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The
Council or the Committee, in case the power to accept endowments, donations or other contributions have
been delegated to it, shall respect the choice of the donor to the extent possible.
