NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th November, 2020
No. A.43011/3/2020-E-III.— In pursuance of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Public
Premises(Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971, the Central Government hereby appoints
Shri Sandeep Kumar, Superintending Engineer of Farakka Barrage Project (a Subordinate Office of the Department of
Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation), to act as the Estates Officer, with full statutory powers,
as an additional charge, in addition to his duties as Superintending Engineer in the Farakka Barrage Project, with
immediate effect, till further orders, in respect of all acquired land, water bodies, buildings and any other constructions
carried out on the acquired land for the purpose of the Farakka Barrage Project, by the Central Government.
