S.O. 698(E).—In pursuance of the proviso to sub-rule (1A) of rule 78 of the Aircraft Rules, 1937 and in
supersession of the notification No. S.O. 346 (E) dated 1st February, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-section (ii) on 1st February, 2017, the Central Government hereby directs that no person shall
operate scheduled air transport services to/from a defence aerodrome after 30th June, 2019 unless such aerodrome has
been certified by the Director General of Civil Aviation as required by sub-rule (1A) of rule 78 of the Aircraft
Rules, 1937.
