NOTIFICATION In the exercise of the powers conferred by section 78 of the Karnataka Court Fees and Suit Valuation Act, 1958 (Karnataka Act 16 of 1958), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Karnataka Court Fees and Suit Valuation Rules, 1960, namely:- Rules 1. Title and Commencement:- (1) These rules may be called Karnataka Court Fees and Suit Valuation (Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of rule 42:- In rule 42 of the Karnataka Court Fees and Suit Valuation Rules, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in sub rule (2), after clause (a), the following shall be inserted, namely:- “Refund may be by e-payment also” 3. Omission of rule 42A:- In rule 42A shall be omitted.
