NOTIFICATION Whereas, the draft of the Karnataka Planning Authorities Rules, 2024 was published as required under section 74 read with section 18 and 18-A of the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 11 of 1963), vide Notification No. UDD 04 TTP 2024 (P) (E), dated 14.02.2024 in part-IVA of the Karnataka Gazette dated 14.02.2024 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be effected within seven days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. And whereas no objections or suggestions are received regarding the said Notification. Now, therefore in exercise of powers conferred under section 74 read with section 18 and 18-A of the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 11 of 1963) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following Rules, namely. RULES 1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Planning Authorities (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (1)R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. Amendment of Rule 37-A.- In the Karnataka Planning Authority Rules 1965 (herein after referred to as the said rules) in rule 37-A, in sub- rule (1), in clause (C), in sub-clause (i), in item (c), after the words “any other schemes of the Authority”, the words “and also the infrastructure development works proposed by the respective Local Authorities related to urban amenities, as deemed fit by the Planning Authority in the interest of Planned Developments” shall be inserted.
