क(cid:16)टनाशक(cid:20) के दावा करने के लेबल को हटाने के िलए सिचव, क(cid:30);ीय क(cid:16)टनाशक बोड(cid:24) और रिज/0 ीकरण सिमित,
एन.एच.-IV, फरीदाबाद को इस आदेश के (काशन के छह मास के भीतर (/त तु करेगा, िजसके न (cid:4)कए जाने पर
क(cid:16)टनाशी अिधिनयम, 1968 क(cid:16) धारा 14 के अधीन अनुZिRत का (ितसंहरण करन े क(cid:16) कार(cid:24)वाई आरंभ क(cid:16) जाएगी ।
(ग) रिज/ 0ीकरण के (माण प8 म(cid:30) पृ! ठांकन न करन े या संशोधन करने पर ऐसे (माण प8(cid:20) के (cid:4)Nयाशील होने क(cid:16) अनुZा
या अनुमोदन को इस आदेश के उपबंध(cid:20) के उ(cid:6)ल ंघन म (cid:30) नह$ िलया जाएगा ।
(घ) रिज/ 0ीकरण (माणप8 स(cid:12) यक् तारीख तक (/त तु न (cid:4)कए जान ेपर र_ समझा जाएगा ।
(ङ) (, येक राK य सरकार अपने संब‘ राK य म(cid:30) ऐस े उपाय करेगी, जो इस आदशे के उपबंध(cid:20) के (cid:4)Nया-व यन के िलए वह
आव6 यक समझे ।
(च) क(cid:30);ीय सरकार, इस आदेश के अनुसरण म (cid:30) खाa सुर5ा और मानक (ािधकरण के स5म (ािधकारी ?ारा अिधकतम
अविश! ट सीमा िनयत (cid:4)कए जाने के प6 चात् हटाए गए लेबल के दाव(cid:20) को पुन: (व<तत करने के िलए िवचार करेगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th September, 2014
S.O. 2486(E).—Whereas, manufacturers of insecticides were advised from time to time to generate
and submit data for fixation of Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) in respect of insecticides whose MRLs are
not fixed but are available in the market for use;
And whereas, Registration Committee after examination of information available on the subject of
fixation of MRLs of insecticides recommended deletion of crops from the label and leaflets of insecticides for
which MRLs have not been fixed;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
And whereas, the Central Government, after consultation with the Registration Committee has decided
for deletion of crops as mentioned in column (3) of the Table below from the label and leaflets of the following
insecticides mentioned in column (2) of the Table below for which MRLs have not been fixed;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 27 of the Insecticides
Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order, namely:—
ORDER
(A) Label claim of the following insecticides for the crops mentioned against each insecticides shall be
deleted from approved use with effect from the date of publication of this Order :—

(B) All registrants granted certificate of registration in respect of the abovementioned insecticides shall submit
their certificate of registration along with label/leaflets for deletion of label claims on the above-
mentioned crops to the Secretary, Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee, NH-IV,
Faridabad, within six months from the date of publication of this Order, failing which action to revoke
licenses under section 14 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 shall be initiated.
(C) Non-endorsement or correction in the certificate of registration will not to be taken as permission or
approval to operate upon such certificates of registration in contravention of the provisions of this Order.
(D) Certificate of registration not submitted by the due date shall be deemed to have been cancelled.
(E) Every State Government shall take such steps in their respective States as they may deem fit for carrying
out the provisions of this Order.
(F) The Central Government shall consider revival of such label claims as deleted pursuant to this Order
after fixation of MRLs by competent authority of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. .
