(a) The election will be held in accordance with rules and procedures stipulated for the conduct of election to the University authorities. (Chapter XIII of Statutes of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University) (b) Nominations “to the Syndicate by Teachers of affiliated Colleges who are members of the Senate” should be made in the prescribed form which may be downloaded from the University website www.msuniv.ac.in Further, nomination papers shall be enclosed in an envelope superscribed as indicated below, and sent by Registered Post (Acknowledgment due), so as to be received by the Returning Officer / Registrar within the date and hour fixed or delivered either in person or by a messenger to the Returning Officer / Registrar within the last date and hour fixed. Nomination papers that are not enclosed in an envelope, superscribed and sent by Registered Post or delivered in person or by messenger as required above shall be declared invalid.
