NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th March, 2026
S.O. 1176(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968),
the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India,
in the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture, (Department of Agriculture and Cooperation), dated the 3rd February, 1997,
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 79(E), dated the
4th February, 1997, namely:-
In the said notification, for serial numbers 5 and 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted,
namely:-
“5. Dr. Subhash Chand, Joint Director (Chemistry), Member.
Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage,
NH-IV, Faridabad, Haryana
6. Dr. Umesh D. Surangi, Professor, Department of Member”.
