No. 24760/B.II/B.10/2011, dt. 12-1-2012. **** O R D E R: In the references 1st & 2nd read above, the Director of Animal Husbandry has submitted proposals for according permission to fill up 109 posts (79 existing posts + 30 left over vacancies for which permission was already accorded) of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in Animal Husbandry Department. Meanwhile in the G.O. 3rd read above, orders were issued up- grading the (500) Rural Livestock Units as Veterinary Dispensaries by creating (500) additional posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons. 2. In the reference 4th read above, the Director of Animal Husbandry has submitted proposals for according permission to fill up 609 posts (500 newly created posts + 79 existing vacancies + 30 left over vacancies for which permission was already accorded). In the G.O. 5th read above permission was accorded to the Director of Animal Husbandry to fill up 500 newly created posts only. 3. In the reference 6th read above, the Director of Animal Husbandry has requested the Government to accord permission to fill up the (109) posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons also to avoid the hardship to the poor farming community in getting timely and proper veterinary services in the rural areas in the state. 4. Government after careful examination of the proposal and in continuation of the orders issued in G.O. 5th read above, hereby accord permission to the Director of Animal Husbandry to fill up the (79) existing posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons by direct recruitment. 5. The Director of Animal Husbandry, A.P., Hyderabad shall take immediate necessary further action in the matter by following the due procedure accordingly. 6.
