Read the following:-
1. Govt. Memo.No. 15568/R.V/1/2009-1, dt. 29-07-2009.
2. From the Engineer-in-Chief(PR), Hyderabad, Lr.No.AE 9/
PR III/Transfer of roads/gtr/2011/ Dt.17/12/2011.

O R D E R:
In the Memo 1st read above, Government have taken a policy
decision not to take over other department roads to the control of
R&B Department for maintenance for at least next six months,
except when necessary for critical infrastructure projects.
2. In the circumstances reported by the Engineer-in-Chief (PR)
Hyderabad in his letter 2nd read above, Government after careful
consideration hereby order to take over the following 5 Panchayat
Raj Roads in Srikakulam District to the control of Roads & Buildings
Department.
1. Nuvvalarevu to Manchineelapeta from km 0/0 to 2/0 in
Srikakulam District.
2. CSP road to Bandaruvanipeta seashore (via) Srikakulam,
Mogadalapadu and Komaravanipeta from km 0/0 to 21/0
in Srikakulam District.
3. N.H.5 to CP Road (via) Pathayavalasa, Gopalapenta,
Mabugam & Edulavalasa from Km 0/0 to 12/80 in
Srikakulam District.
4. C.P.road to D.P.N Road (via) Koviripeta, Kottarevu, DL
Puram Jn. From km 0/0 to 11/0 in Srikakulam District.
5. CSP Road to J.J Road (via) Thotavada, TDR Peta,
Annampeta in Srikakulam District.
3. The roads now transferred will be taken over on “as is where
is” basis. No land acquisition will be taken up or initiated to increase
existing width by the Roads & Buildings Department for the above
roads. In case, there is any existing claim or future claim or
litigation arising out of land acquisition, the Roads & Buildings
Department will revert the roads back to Panchayat Raj Department.
4. The Roads & Buildings Department will only repair and maintain
these existing roads and bring it to a motorable condition in the first
phase. Improvements of a capital nature will be undertaken on the
above roads in a phased manner according to a development
programme.

5. The Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad, shall take
necessary action to hand over the roads mentioned at para (2) above
to the Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), State Roads, Hyderabad, after
obtaining Resolutions of the concerned Zilla Parishads.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Panchayat Raj & Rural
Development Department vide their U.O.No.22411/Progs-IA/ 2011,
dated 25.1.2012.
