G.O.Ms.No. 168, TR&B (R.IV.2) Dept, Dt.24-07-2009. 4. From the Operations Adviser (India), World Bank, New Delhi Office Lr Dt.09-01-2012. 5. From the CE(R&B) CRN & MD, APRDC, Hyderabad, LrNo.18310/APRDC/APRSP/KS-05/2007, dt:21-01-2012. *** O R D E R: In the G.O 3rd read above, Government have accorded administrative sanction for Rs. 247.65 Crores (two hundred forty seven crores and sixty five lakshs ) towards Kandi- Shadnagar Road, for Upgradation and Improvement component of Andhra Pradesh Road Sector Project, among other four roads, subject to reimbursement by the World Bank i.e Lender Agency. 2. The Chief Engineer (R&B) CRN & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation, Hyderabad, in his letter 5th read above, has stated that the world bank has given no objection for rejection of bids and reinvitation of fresh bids for the above work vide their letter 4th read above, he has further stated that in accordance with the suggestions made by the World Bank, necessary action is initiated for Rejection of bids and Re-invitation of fresh bids for Pkg KS-05. The bidders were informed that the bidding process is annulled and all bids are rejected on administrative grounds. 3. While explaining the reasons for re-invitation of bids, the Chief Engineer (R&B) CRN & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation,Hyderabad, has requested the Government to accord (i) revised Administrative Sanction for an amount of Rs.279.00 Crores for widening and strengthening of Kandi- Shadnagar Road-ICB Package KS-05 and (ii) to accord permission to recall tenders pending revised Administrative Sanction from the Government, to avoid any further delay in procuring the work of Kandi-Shadnagar road at an early date. 4. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord revised Administrative Sanction of Rs.279.00 Crores (Two hundred and seventy nine crores only) for widening and strengthening of Kandi- Shadnagar Road-ICB Package KS-05 and also permitted, to recall tenders for the aforesaid work. (P.T.O)-2- 5. The Chief Engineer (R&B) CRN & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation, Hyderabad, shall take further action accordingly. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW) Department, vide their U.O.No.2583/06/A2/Expr.PW/2012, dated:06.02.2012.
