ORDER:-
In the reference 3rd read above, Government have issued revised administrative
approval to the Malayala Lift Irrigation Schemes I & II under RIDF-IX for an amount of
Rs.1536.00 Lakhs and 1600.00 Lakhs respectively under the head of account M.H.
6702 – Loans for MI MH 800 – Other Loans – schemes included in the plan – SH (01)
– Loans to APSIDC Limited, 008 – Loans to APSIDC for execution of L.I. Scheme
under RIDF as follows:

2. The Vice Chairman and Managing Director, A.P.S.I.D.C. Limited, Hyderabad in
his letter 4th read above, has stated that the RIDF-IX tranche was closed
on 31-12-2008. The NABARD, vide letter dated 30-4-2009 has permitted to incur:: 2 ::
expenditure up to 31-03-2009 under RIDF-IX tranche. The schemes could not be
commissioned within the agreement period because of availability of short working
period from February to June every year due to raising of crops in the ayacut area from
July to February (2 crops) and also due to submergence of head works site from June
to February. An amount of Rs.946.00 Lakhs and Rs.945.00 Lakhs was incurred for
Malayala L.I. Schemes 1&2 respectively. As the tranche RIDF-IX is already closed, it is
proposed to take up the balance works of above L.I. Schemes under State Plan.
Accordingly, estimates for balance works at Malayala L.I. Schemes 1 & 2 estimates
prepared with agreement rates for Rs.590.00 lakhs and Rs.655.00 Lakhs respectively.
3. In his letter 5th read above, he has further stated that if the balance works are not
taken up the incurred expenditure will become infructuous. He has therefore requested
to accord permission for an amount of Rs.590.00 Lakhs and Rs.655.00 Lakhs for taking
up balance works of Malayala 1 & 2 L.I. Schemes respectively under Normal State Plan
funds allocated to A.P.S.I.D.C. for the year 2011-12 under the Head of Account “4702 –
MH 101 – G.H.-11 - SH(15) Lift Irrigation works – 530/531 for providing Irrigation
facilities to 4900 acres under each scheme, benefiting the poor farmers and to put the
infrastructure already created into use.
4. Government, after careful examination hereby accord permission to the Vice
Chairman and Managing Director, A.P.S.I.D.C. Limited, Hyderabad to take up balance
works of Malayala-I & II Lift Irrigation Schemes with an amount of Rs.590.00 Lakhs and
Rs.655.00 Lakhs respectively under Normal State Plan funds allocated to APSIDC for
the year 2011-12 under Head of account “4702 – MH 101 – G.H.-11 - SH(15) Lift
Irrigation works – 530/531, as the 1st Revised Administrative Sanction cost has not
exceeded,
5. Accordingly, the following amendment is issued to the orders issued in
G.O.Ms.No.90, Irrigation & CAD (PW-EA) Department, dated 21.5.2005:

6. The Vice Chairman and Managing Director, APSIDC Limited, Hyderabad shall

7. This orders issues with the concurrence of Finance (Exp.PW) Department vide
their U.O.No.665/28/A1/Exp.PW/2012, dated 24-01-2012.
