Govt. Memo.No. 15568/R.V/1/2009-1, dt. 29-07-2009. 2. From the Engineer-in-Chief(R&B), State Roads, Hyderabad, Lr.No.9682/DEE-X/TZP-Chittoor /2011, Dt.28-12-2011. **** O R D E R: In the Memo 1st read above, Government have taken a policy decision not to take over other department roads to the control of R&B Department for maintenance for at least next six months, except when necessary for critical infrastructure projects. 2. In the circumstances reported by the Engineer-in-Chief(R&B), State Roads, Hyderabad in his letter 2nd read above, Government after careful consideration hereby order to take over the following 13 Panchayat Raj Roads in Chittoor District to the control of Roads & Buildings Department. 1. CKT Road to Gudibanda via Gollapalli, Mudigapalli, Arundathiwada from Km.0/0 to 8/1. 2. Nadimicherla road to Kadirayacheruvu Oddipalli from Km.0/0 to 5/0. 3. MP road to CKT road via Nagaripalli, Nayanicheruvupali, MC Palem from Km.0/0 to 13/0 4. Mahal to Kadirayacheruvu from Km. 0/0 to 6/8. 5. KR Road to KR road via Chekkaravandlapalli, K.Madigapalli, Cheruvumudrapalli from Km.0/0 to 5/0 6. KR Road to KR road via Chinthamakulapalli, Jadevandlapalli, Thummalapeta from Km. 0/0 to 4/5 7. Chinthamakulapalli to Guvvalagudem via Pothireddygaripalli, Rallamadigapalli, Venkatadripalem from Km.0/0 to 8/0. 8. Piler-Sadam road to Noonevandlapalli via Indiramma colony , Ramireddigaripalli from Km.0/0 to 8/0. 9. Tirupathi road to meet Ellamanda road (via) Ramanaik Thanda, Puttavandlapalli, Goodarevupalli from Km.0/0 to 6/0. 10. V.G road to Papireddygaripalli via Mudiyamvaripalli from Km.0/0 to 5/5. 11. MP road to VG road via Boyapalli, Ayyavaripalli from Km. 0/0 to 6/0. 12. Marripadu-kadirayacheruvu to Sarimadugu road via Mallireddigaripalli from Km.0/0 to 5/3. 13. RA road to Sarimadugu road (via) Gunlagutta Thanda from Km.0/0 to 5/2. 3. The roads now transferred will be taken over on “as is where is” basis. No land acquisition will be taken up or initiated to increase existing width by the Roads & Buildings Department for the above roads. In case, there is Contd…Page.2-2- any existing claim or litigation arising out of land acquisition, the Roads & Buildings Department will revert the roads back to Panchayat Raj Department. 4. The Roads & Buildings Department will only repair and maintain these existing roads and bring it to a motorable condition in the first phase. Improvements of a capital nature will be undertaken on the above roads in a phased manner according to a development programme. 5. The Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad, shall take necessary action to hand over the roads mentioned at para (2) above to the Engineer- in-Chief(R&B), State Roads, Hyderabad, after obtaining Resolutions of the concerned Zilla Parishads. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department vide their U.O.No.3926/Progs.1-A/12. dated: 18.02.2012.
