O R D E R:-
The following notification will be published in the Extraordinary Issue of
the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Dated 29.02.2012.
N O T I F I C A T I O N
Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra
Pradesh that the ancient Temple known as Sri Cheekati Venkateswara Swamy
Temple situated in Pulimamidi (Village), Kandukur (Mandal), Ranga Reddy
District as specified in the appended Schedule is considered to be of
Archaeological and Historical importance;
2. And whereas, the Government are of the opinion that Sri Cheekati
Venkateswara Swamy Temple situated in Pulimamidi (Village), Kandukur
(Mandal), Ranga Reddy District requires protection under the provisions of the
Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and
Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960);
3. And whereas, the Government, have issued Notification in the
G.O.Ms.No. 59, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated 14-06-2011 and the same
has been published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No. 325, Dated 30-06-2011
at page No.1, its intention to declare the said ancient Temple to be a
protected monument by giving two months notice as required under sub–
section (1) of section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical
Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh
Act VII of 1960);
4. And whereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the
Government to the declaration of the said Sri Cheekati Venkateswara Swamy
Temple situated in Pulimamidi (Village), Kandukur (Mandal), Ranga Reddy
District to be a protected monument during the said period of two months.
5. Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub–section (3) of
section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and
Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act VII of 1960),
the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that the Ancient Sri
Cheekati Venkateswara Swamy Temple situated in Pulimamidi (Village),
Kandukur (Mandal), Ranga Reddy District as specified in the Schedule to be a
protected monument as the same having been previously published in the
Andhra Pradesh Gazette as required under sub–section (1) of section 4 of the
said Act.
