Ms. No. 26 Dated: 01-03-2012 Read the following:- 1) G.O.Ms.No.180, TR&B (Tr.II) Department, Dated 07-06-1980. 2) G.O.Ms.No.88, TR&B (Tr.II) Department, Dated 07-07-2011. 3) From the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APSRTC, Hyderabad, Lr.No. IR3/781(19)/ 2010-PO-IV, Dated 25/10/2011. *** ORDER: The following Notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated 02-03-2012. NOTIFICATION Whereas, a notification was issued in G.O.Ms.No.180, Transport Roads and Buildings Department, dated the 7th June, 1980, declaring any service under the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation as an essential service under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 ( Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971); And whereas, orders were issued in G.O. Ms. No. 88, Transport Roads & Buildings Department, dated 07-07-2011 prohibiting strikes for a period of six months with effect from 08-07-2011 in any service under the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Constituted under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950 (Act 64 of 1950) and the said period expired. And whereas, Government have considered that in the public interest, it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in any service under the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation for a period of six months. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby prohibit of strikes in any service under the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation constituted under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950 (Act 64 of 1950) for a period of six months with immediate effect.
