DEPARTMENT G.O.Ms.No. 27, Dt.18-02-2012. Read the following: 1. G.O.Ms. No. 95, I&CAD(PW:NSP1) Dept., dt. 01-08-1996. 2. G.O.Ms. No. 63, I&CAD(PW:MAJ. IRR-X) Dept., dt. 14-06-2010. 3. From the Engineer-in-Chief, I&CAD, Hyderabad, Letter No. ENC/IW/ P&M/EE-I/DEE-9/AEE3/13308/SCIWAM/2011/Vol. XIV, dt.01-12-2011. -----000----- ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, the Committee for Integrated Operation of Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar Reservoirs (CIOSANAR) was reconstituted and renamed as Committee for Integrated Operation of Krishna and Pennar Basin Project (CIOKRIP) with Engineer-in-Chief as Chairman and 8 other members, bringing the Pennar Basin also into the fold of the Committee and the Chief Engineers, TGP and Commissioner, CADA, also as its members. 2. Considering the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No. 372, I&CAD (SER-II) Dept., dt. 31-03-2010 for co-ordination of projects listed there-in by the Engineer-in- Chief, Irrigation, Hyderabad as Engineer-in-Chief, Projects(I) and Engineer-in- Chief, NTR TGP, Srikalahasti as Engineer-in-Chief, Projects(II), the Committee for Integrated Operation of Krishna and Pennar Basin Project (CIOKRIP) has been reconstituted and renamed as State level Committee for Integrated Water Planning and Management (SCIWAM) to function as a Technical Committee advising the Govt. and Commissioner, CADA, Hyderabad on the matters related to integrated water planning and management including reviewing and improving the water use efficiency, seasonally and covering all Major and Minor River Basins in the State, in the reference 2nd read above. 3. In the reference 3rd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief, I&CAD, Hyderabad has reported that in view of the orders issued to the Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation, Hyderabad in G.O.Ms. No. 895, I&CAD(SER-II), Dept. dt. 03-09-2011 for co-ordination of all the projects in ‘Rayalaseema’ region, and to the Engineer-in-Chief, Indira Sagar Polavaram Project to co-ordinate all the projects in ‘Andhra’ region, vide G.O.Ms. No. 896, I&CAD(SER-II), Dept. dt. 03-09-2011, the posts of Engineer-in-Chief, Projects(I) and Engineer-in-Chief, Projects(II) are not now existing and requested the Government to reconstitute the existing SCIWAM with the following composition: 1. Engineer-in-Chief (I.W) - Chairman 2. Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation - Member 3. Engineer-in-Chief, Indira Sagar Polavaram Project - Member 4. Chief Engineer, Inter State and Water Resources - Member 5. Chief Engineer, CADA - Member 6. Chief Engineer, GRID Operation, APTRANSCO - Member 7. Chief Engineer, (Projects) APGENCO - Member 8. Representative from the O/o the Commissioner, Agriculture - Member 9. Superintending Engineer, P&M Cell, Hyderabad - Convenor 10. Chief Engineers of Concerned Projects. PTO-2- 4. Orders were issued in GOMsNo 1025, I&CAD(SER-II) Dept., dt. 1-10-2011 for co-ordination of all the projects in ‘Telangana’ region by the E-in-C (AW), I&CAD Dept., Hyderabad. 5. Government recognize that the post of “Engineer-in-Chief” as per the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No. 175, I&P (Services-II) Dept., dt. 12-04-1981, is being referred to variably as Engineer-in-Chief (AW)/Engineer-in-Chief (IW)/ Engineer-in-Chief, Admn./Engineer-in-Chief, General(ENC-General) to distinguish it from the post of Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation(ENC-I). 6. Government, after careful consideration of the matter, hereby reconstitute the existing State level Committee for Integrated Water Planning and Management (SCIWAM) with the following composition: 1. Engineer-in-Chief, General, I&CAD, Hyderabad (ENC-G). - Chairman 2. Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation, Hyderabad (ENC-I). - Member 3. Engineer-in-Chief, Indira Sagar Polavaram Project. - Member 4. Chief Engineer, Inter State and Water Resources - Member 5. Chief Engineer, CAD, Hyderabad. - Member 6. Chief Engineer, GRID Operation, APTRANSCO, Hyderabad. - Member 7. Chief Engineer, (Projects) APGENCO, Hyderabad. - Member 8. Representative from the O/o the Commissioner, Agriculture Dept.- Member 9. Superintending Engineer, P&M Cell, Hyderabad. - Convenor 10. Chief Engineers of Concerned Projects. 7. Government, also order that the committee functions and other terms as prescribed at paras 4 & 5 of the reference 2nd read above, are continued. 8. The Engineer-in-Chief, General, I&CAD, Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly.
