From the Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau, Hyderabad, Lr.Rc.No.30/RCT-KAD/2005, dated: 31.12.2011. ***** ORDER:- In the reference 1st read above, it has been brought to the notice of the Government that Sri D.Ramaswamy, Training Officer-cum-Junior Assistant Apprentice Advisor, Government ITI, Mancherial, Adilabad District was trapped by Anti Corruption Bureau officials on 11.02.2005 when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs.2,500/- from the complainant for doing official favor. 2. Government based on the recommendations of the Anti Corruption Bureau, Hyderabad in the reference 2nd read above, have accorded sanction for prosecution in the reference 3rd read above against Sri D.Ramaswamy, Training Officer-cum-Junior Assistant Apprentice Advisor, Government ITI, Mancherial, Adilabad District in a court of law for the above said offences. 3. In the reference 4th read above, the Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau, Hyderabad have informed that the IInd Special Judge for S.P.E. and Anti Corruption Bureau cases, Hyderabad in its judgment dated: 28.12.2011 has convicted Sri D.Ramaswamy, Training Officer-cum-Junior Assistant Apprentice Advisor, Government ITI, Mancherial, Adilabad District and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months and to pay a fine of Rs.500/- for offence U/s. 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and in default of payment to suffer six months simple imprisonment and also sentenced the Accused Officer to undergo imprisonment for one year and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/- for the offence U/s.13 (2) r/w 13 (1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and in default to suffer simple imprisonment for a period of two (2) months and both the sentences shall run concurrently. 4. Government after careful examination of the matter have decided to impose the penalty of withholding of pension and gratuity in full permanently under Rule 9 of Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980 against Sri D.Ramaswamy, Training Officer-cum-Junior Assistant Apprentice Advisor, Government ITI, Mancherial, Adilabad District with immediate effect consequent on his conviction by IInd Special Judge for S.P.E. and Anti Corruption Bureau cases, Hyderabad. 5. Accordingly, Government hereby direct the penalty of withholding the pension and gratuity in full permanently under Rule 9 of Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980 be imposed with immediate effect against Sri D.Ramaswamy, Training Officer-cum-Junior Assistant Apprentice Advisor, Government ITI, Mancherial, Adilabad District. The following notification shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:- NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules 1980, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby impose the penalty of withholding of pension and gratuity in full permanently on Sri D.Ramaswamy, Training Officer-cum-Junior Assistant Apprentice Advisor, Government ITI, Mancherial, Adilabad District with immediate effect.
