From President, Journalists Association of Andhra Pradesh (JAAP), Dt. 10-01-2011. 2. From VC & MD, APSRTC Lr. No.P9/543(2)/2011-OPD(P), Dt. 26-03-2011. *** O R D E R : In the reference 1st read above, the President, Journalists Association of A.P. (JAAP), has requested the Government to provide 1/3rd concession of the actual fare to the accredited correspondents of periodicals to travel facility in APSRTC buses within the State by amending the Circular of APSRSTC in providing concession facility to the accredited Correspondents and also amend the Circular and allow the accredited correspondents who have the concession bus passes facility to travel APSRTC by extending to travel in A.C. buses also in the State, Districts and Twin Cities to discharge their duties in an safety way and to reach their destinations for speedy collecting of the news to their papers and electronic media with equipments safely. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Vice Chariman & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has informed that the Government is reimbursing 100% cost concessions, extending concessions to any new category will have to be undertaken as per the advise of the Government. 3. Govt. after careful examination, hereby agree for extension of travel facility in Air-Conditioned buses to Accredited Correspondents and also to extend 1/3rd concession Bus pass facility to the accredited journalists of periodicals in APSRTC buses within the State. 4. The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation shall take necessary action in the matter. 5.
