Govt. Memo.No. 15568/R.V/1/2009-1, dt. 29-07-2009. 2. From the Engineer-in-Chief(R&B), State Roads, Hyderabad, Lr.No.9685/DEE-X/TZP-Guntur /2012, Dt.05-01-2012. **** O R D E R: In the Memo 1st read above, Government have taken a policy decision not to take over other department roads to the control of R&B Department for maintenance for at least next six months, except when necessary for critical infrastructure projects. 2. In the circumstances reported by the Engineer-in- Chief(R&B), State Roads, Hyderabad in his letter 2nd read above, Government after careful consideration hereby order to take over the 375 meters of Panchayat road to R&B, as part of Pakalapadu- Paladugu road and the existing earthen village road for conversion to C.C road in Gudipudi village, Sattenapalli mandal of Guntur District to the control of Roads & Buildings Department. 3. The road now transferred will be taken over on “as is where is” basis. No land acquisition will be taken up or initiated to increase existing width by the Roads & Buildings Department for the above road. In case, there is any existing claim or litigation arising out of land acquisition, the Roads & Buildings Department will revert the road back to Panchayat Raj Department. 4. The Roads & Buildings Department will only repair and maintain these existing road and bring it to a motorable condition in the first phase. Improvements of a capital nature will be undertaken on the above road in a phased manner according to a development programme. 5. The Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad, shall take necessary action to hand over the road mentioned at para (2) above to the Engineer-in-Chief, R&B, State Roads, Hyderabad, after obtaining Resolutions of the concerned Zilla Parishads. . . . . .2-2- 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department vide their U. O. No. 5706/Progs-I- A/12, dated: 16.03.2012.
