Mining Lease application of M/s. Vengamamba Minerals , dated 26.09.2008. 2. Govt. Memo No.13854/M.I(2)/2009, I&C, dated 09.11.2009. 3. From the Director of Mines & Geology, Hyderabad file No.5273/R3-1/2009, dated 19.12.2011. *** O R D E R: In the reference 2nd read above, Government have proposed for grant of Mining Lease for Quartz, Feldspar and Mica over an extent of 10.018 acres or 4.054 hectares in Sy. No.194 of Bondaravulapadu Village (Thurupurompidodla Panchayat), Varikuntapadu Mandal, SPSR Nellore District for a period of 20 years in favour of M/s. Vengamamba Minerals and the applicant company was requested to submit the Approved Mining Plan under Rule 22(4) of M.C. Rules, 1960 through the Director of Mines and Geology and also submit the Consent for Establishment (CFE) from the A.P. Pollution Control Board as per S.O. 1533, dated 14-09-2006. 2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Director of Mines & Geology, Hyderabad has stated that, the applicant has submitted the Mining Plan Approved by the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) after availing the extension of time. As per the Approved Mining Plan the total mineable reserves of Quartz, Feldspar and Mica are 50,463 Tonnes and the life of the mine is 34 years at the rate of 1500 Tonnes of production per year. He further submitted the Consent For Establishment Order issued by the AP Pollution Control Board vide order No.N-164/PCB/ZO-VJA/CFE/2010-1689, dated 10.01.2011, combined sketch and copies of Income Tax Returns for the last three financial years. The Director of Mines &Geology, Hyderabad has requested the Government for grant of Mining Lease for Quartz, Feldspar and Mica over an extent of 10.018 acres or 4.054 hectares in Sy. No.194 of Bondaravulapadu Village (Thurupurompidodla Panchayat), Varikuntapadu Mandal, SPSR Nellore District in favour of M/s. Vengamamba Minerals for a period of 20 Years. 3. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby grant the Mining Lease for Quartz, Feldspar and Mica over an extent of 10.018 acres or 4.054 hectares in Sy. No.194 of Bondaravulapadu Village (Thurupurompidodla Panchayat), Varikuntapadu Mandal, SPSR Nellore District in favour of M/s. Vengamamba Minerals for a period of 20 Years, subject to satisfaction of MM(D&R) Act,1957 and the Rules made thereunder and also subject to the additional conditions specified in the Appendix to this order. 4. The rates of royalty, dead rent, and surface rent and water charges shall be collectable as follows: I.ROYALTY: 1) Quartz: Fifteen per cent of sale price on ad valorem basis. 2) Feldspar : Twelve per cent of sale price on ad valorem basis. 3) Mica : Four per cent of sale price on ad valorem basis. (P.T.O.)-2- II. Dead Rent: (Rates of dead rent in rupees per hectare per annum or as revised from time to time) From second year of Third year and Fifth year lease fourth year onwards 200 500 1000 III. Surface Rent, water Charges and Cess: As fixed by the Government from time to time. 5. The grantee should execute the lease deed within the time limit specified in Rule 31 of Mineral Concession Rules, 1960. 6. The grantee should pay a deposit of Rs.10,000/- as prescribed under Rule 32 of the Mineral Concession Rules, 1960 before the lease is actually executed. 7. The terms and conditions referred to in paras 4 to 6 of this order are subject to such further modifications, additions and alterations as may be ordered before the lease deed is executed. 8. The Director of Mines and Geology shall take necessary further action for the execution of the lease deed after satisfying himself that the grantee fulfils all the required provisions of the amended Act and Rules. As soon as the deed is executed, the date of such execution should be reported to the Government. Note:- The grant is liable for cancellation, should it be found at a later date that it was grossly inequitable or was made under a mistake of fact or owing to misrepresentation or fraud or in excess of authority.
