From the Director, Archaeology and Museums, Lr.Rc.No. H3/3000 /2003, Dated 04-07-2011. * * * O R D E R:- The following notification will be published in the Extraordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Dated 09.03.2012. N O T I F I C A T I O N Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra Pradesh that the Ancient Temple known as Yerravaram Hill in Yerravaram Village, Yeleswaram Mandal, East Godavari District as specified in the appended Schedule is considered to be of Archaeological and Historical importance; 2. And whereas, the Government are of the opinion Yerravaram Hill in Yerravaram Village, Yeleswaram Mandal, East Godavari District requires protection under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960); 3. And whereas, the Government, have issued Notification in the G.O.Ms.No.23, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated 13-01-2011 and the same has been published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.40-B, Dated 22-01-2011 at page No.2, its intention to declare the said ancient Temple to be a protected monument by giving two months notice as required under sub–section (1) of section 4 of the said Act; 4. And whereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the Government to the declaration Yerravaram Hill in Yerravaram Village, Yeleswaram Mandal, East Godavari District to be a protected monument during the said period of two months. 5.
