The following notification will be published in the Extraordinary issue of
the Andhra Pradesh Gazette: Dated: 27-04-2012.
N O T I F I C A T I O N
Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra
Pradesh that the ancient temples known as (A) Sri Chamundeswari Devi,
Thubadu Village, Nadendla Mandal, Guntur District with an extent of land
Acres 0.20 cents in Survey No.401 and (B) Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy
Temples, Thubadu Village, Nadendla Mandal, Guntur District with an extent of
land Acres 0.10 cents in Survey No.401 as described in the Schedule hereunder
to be of Archaeological and Historical importance.
2. And, whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh are of the opinion
that the said ancient Temple requires protection under the provision of
Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and
Remains Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act VII of 1960) and proposes to declare it
to be a protected monument.
3. Now, therefore, notice is hereby given as required under sub–section (1)
of Section 4 of the said Act that the aforesaid proposal will be taken into
consideration by the Government after the expiry of a period of two months
from the date of publication of this notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
Any objection or suggestions which may be received within the aforesaid period
will be considered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Objections or
suggestions should be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Youth
Advancement Tourism and Culture (Tourism) Department, Andhra Pradesh
Secretariat, Hyderabad – 500022.
